A photo essay on Europe’s textile transition
November 16, 2020
We must move away from the textile industry’s ‘take-make-waste’ model of overproduction and overconsumption. Part of this textile transition means ensuring textiles don’t end up as waste.
META has met some of the people, projects, and businesses on the frontline of Europe’s textile transformation to find out what their challenges are and what we can learn from them.
Through these stories we hope to give a snapshot of the diversity of activity across Europe when it comes to efforts to ensure textiles don’t make their way to waste.
